Flashing back to NYC for a quick few days in this crazy summer. It seems to have been going non stop and before I know it, it's going to be over. We have spent the first half of the summer traveling to our home towns to visit family which has been a lot of fun. I really do have a hard crush on Utah. Growing up there I was lucky enough to explore the most betauiful mountains and canyons I have ever seen. If you have not had the opportunity to visit Utah, I am telling you now, DO IT NOW!
People come from near and far and find themselves speechless.

While I love the outdoors and enjoying nature, I have to say, it feels so good to be back in the city. The second I get home and walk around I feel at peace and like I am home. I feel like a little kid that wants to take of running down the street and never stop!  I feel so lucky to travel as often as I do. Though most of the time it is for work I never stop feeling full of gratitude to experience the world. I think that is makes me only grow fonder of this place called New York City, when I am not there I am craving it.

Later in the week I am doing a few day stop in the city of Los Angeles for a photo shoot which I am really excited/nervous about. I can't wait to share some behind the scenes with you guys.

This is one of my favorite more sophisticated but simple outfits, believe it or not what looks to be a skirt is actually a skort, might be my favorite new go to, so comfortable and easy for summer! This look was from my babes over at FRAME, if you have never heard of them be sure to check it out, sophisticated simplicity at it's finest.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer, would love to hear what you guys are up to.

lots of love

  1. I love your outfit! It's definitely the perfect combo or sophistication and simplicity. :)

  2. I love your blog, this look is fantastic

    New post;

  3. Frame seriously makes the best items. Basic with a twist, and hands down the best denim out there.

    And I couldn't agree more with your sentiments on traveling. It is so wonderful to experience the world but it makes me more appreciative of the place I call home.
