A day of picnic and polo what could be more perfect. Being new to NY this has to go down as one of the more fun events I have attended since living here. Sometimes you forget that Manhattan is an island and so this weekend between going up to Governors Ball and headed to the Polo Classic I have had the pleasure of taking two different ferries over to Liberty Park and Randal's Island. Yes it's just a little boat ride across the water but something about it is so charming.
I felt like I was transferred back in time, everyone looked so classy wearing the coolest hats and the prettiest dresses, all the men in suits. I of course brought my most ridiculous but favorite purse, the chicken. The day ended with a performance by Alicia Keys which of course, she just kills it. I hope I can attend this event yearly, I am already thinking about outfits!
