It's officially June which means, Festival Time! I have been now to Coachella, Bonnaroo and most recently Gov Ball. I am such a fan of music festivals, I think people complain how they are too overrated, dirty and yada yada but come on people, it's AMAZING. So many people going die hard for music and sharing it together. Not to mention it's insane what you pay to see all your favorite bans in a weekend compared to what you pay for one concert. . . worth it! (I think) Gov Ball was such a unique and convenient experience in itself, all I had to do was hop on a Ferry a few blocks form my apartment and within no time I was dropped off at Randal's Island and in a sea of people.
If there is one thing I have learned about going to music festivals is that you are on your feet all day and comfort is key! I use to try and rock cool boots or crazy uncomfortable shoes until I realized that duh sneakers are the way to go and what's cuter that the new Cortez Nike? I now have two pair which I will be wearing all summer long. I didn't realize when putting on the pair featured in my photos I would be matching the colors of Gov Ball, lol, it was perfection. Earlier in the week (see here) I was wearing an all white pair of Cortez's with a really girly white lace dress and a cowboy hat, perfect festival style if you ask me. Today's look was a little more casual as the weather forecast was rain and I wanted to feel like I could frolic in the fields.
