Sailing Day

It feels like yesterday, waking up as the sun colored the sky just in time to see a herd of dolphins zipping by outside the window. The air was crisp, the smell of salt danced around my nose. It was easy, it was perfect. Growing up my family and I had a little beach shack in Laguna Beach, California. It was old and rickety, almost falling apart more than an occasional ant crawling by. I remember driving along the coast as a family to arrive at our paradise.

I remember we used to climb up this big sandy hill to get to the little shake shack that sat at the very top. It had the world's best orange shakes, (yes you heard me, I said orange shakes!). I haven't had once since but we all still reminisce since they were the best shakes we have ever had.

It’s a memory that will never be lost but one that will last with me forever. Occasionally I catch a smell that takes me back to my childhood, my most happy self . Sharing with you today one of these scents that take me back in time. My new favorite scent is Sailing Day by Maison Marigela. A smell holding memories that inspires you to make new ones. It’s the perfect scent for summer and I hope it takes you to a place you once knew and loved.

I am sure most of you are Sephora addicts like myself. If I had to choose between Disneyland and Sephora I think you would know my choice. It’s an endless land of too many beautiful things. I picked this scent up there and will attach a link below as a few of my other favorite summer must haves!

  2. Hi Tessa!

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that I adore what you create and you are my biggest inspiration! These yellows are so heartwarming as well as what you shared of your memories from your childhood. I can somehow relate even though I grew up in quite an opposite part of the world! I would love to know more about you and your creative process! Also, I would be grateful if you could tell me where your hat is from, because I'm obsessed and searched online for it with no success!
    Thank you!

  4. On account of a partial apparatus, the upper segment of the mainsail cuts undisturbed air, while the lower parts get their breeze effectively bowed further toward the back by the headsails. Wind control is fundamental if the highest point of the sail isn't to be slowed down totally.hamptons yacht charters
