I hope everyone is healthy and happy this week! I caught the on going cold that always seems to pop out of the woodwork this time of year. I have been so busy it's been hard to try and get better. But resting is important, if that is one thing I have learned in my life. I recently realized how steadily happy I have been for the last few years and while there are many factors that lead to this conclusion I think a huge part of it has been eliminating stress. In college I took way to many credits at a time, played in a band, ran a photography business, and had an insanely fun social life. This left about 2.5-4 hours for sleeping a night. As you can imagine that can lead to high stress and anxiety. At the time I thought I was invincible and claimed I didn't need sleep, I loved being busy and packing my schedule, which I still do. But there has to be a time where you can turn it off. Focus on your self, your mind body and spirit they all deserve attention. I finally have been able to really focus on my priorities and manage my time and it has made all of the difference.
Anyway a short note for today, but love yourself and be happy.
